Dr. Amanda Fernandez

Dr. Amanda Fernandez is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in the treatment of back and neck pain using the Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment method of the McKenzie Institute, USA.

 

She is a Florida native and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Gerontology, and Psychology at the University of South Florida, completed her Master’s in Public Health and the University of Florida, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Novasoutheastern University.

 

Amanda has continued her post doctorate education to incorporate manual therapy techniques using Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), is a certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She utilizes the Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment Method of the McKenzie Institute, USA to treat neck, back, and extremity pain. These tools allow her to provide the most effective and evidence based physical therapy.

 

Amanda is also an avid crossfitter and enjoys spending time fishing, and being outdoors with her family.
